About the role

An exciting opportunity is presented for a proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills to be part of a dynamic and visionary organisation. As an Enrolled Nurse within the Mental Health Support Program, you will participate in nursing care delivery and maintain a physically safe and culturally sensitive environment for consumers and staff. You will work within a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering assessment and care to consumers with mental health issues, reflecting enrolled nursing competencies and a recovery-oriented framework, in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. This role offers flexibility and opportunities to address various outpatient healthcare challenges, promoting mental health and preventing ill health.

Applicants must be enrolled as a Nurse with the appropriate registering authority, hold a current practising certificate, a Diploma in Enrolled Nursing, and a current driver's license. Recent relevant nursing experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and visitors are essential. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team or independently with minimal supervision. A self-motivated approach, professional integrity, and confidentiality are vital.
