About the Role

As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you'll be based at the Rama Gold Project in WA, working on a wide range of heavy mobile equipment. Your work will be essential in ensuring our fleet remains reliable, efficient, and safe.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out diagnostics, repairs, servicing and rebuilds on trucks, dozers, graders, loaders and excavators
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime
  • Fault finding and component change-outs on engines, transmissions and hydraulics
  • Working closely with supervisors and fellow trades to meet operational requirements
  • Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring all work complies with safety standards

About You

  • Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
  • Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills
  • Safety-focused with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence (or higher)
  • HRWL, Working at Heights & EWP tickets (desirable)

Roster: FIFO roster from Perth to the Rama Gold Project

Contract: Permanent Full-Time

Work Location: Rama Gold Mine

Salary: Great hourly rates – $70 to $85 per hour (casual rates also available)

Employee Appreciation Bonus Program: $10,000
