Job Description

The senior NPD Project Engineer will act as the conduit between the technical, sales, marketing & customer service functions to ensure that products meet market requirements and will assist in the customisation of designs to customer needs. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the position will identify new applications or emerging trends in Australia and overseas to highlight growth opportunities and lead the team in the successful introduction of new products.

Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Electronic Engineering
  • 6-8 years experience in a relevant mechanical or electro-mechanical product development field
  • Project management skills related to product development and delivery of industrial/consumer products, including product specification and testing methodology
  • Experience dealing with product or electrical compliance standards
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification
