The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Engineering – International, you'll lead the electronic and systems design of new residential products, ensuring they meet performance, safety and regulatory standards. You'll manage project timelines, budgets and resources, while collaborating across engineering, marketing and customer teams to define product requirements.

Your technical expertise will guide internal teams and external partners through development and you'll provide hands-on support to field service and customer teams to ensure seamless product implementation and customer satisfaction.

As a key member of our residential business leadership group, you'll help shape our product portfolio and champion a local culture of innovation, safety, quality and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on role for someone who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves—whether it's supporting the team, solving problems in the field, or going the extra mile for a customer.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a dynamic, curious, and commercially driven Senior NPD Engineer who brings:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering, or 10+ years of proven experience in electrical/electronic product development (consumer or industrial)
• A strong track record of collaborating with and influencing internal and external stakeholders, including managing suppliers in a manufacturing environment
• Strategic thinking, commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• A commitment to compliance, safety and product quality
• High-level communication skills, including the ability to compile and present professional documentation
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification (desirable)
