Medical Receptionist / Technician - FULL-TIME - Mooroolbark, Melbourne

Join Heartscope, a division of Scope Healthcare Ltd, a well-established Cardiology testing provider with clinics across Melbourne. We are expanding and seeking full-time receptionists/technicians for our South-East clinics. Experience is preferred but not essential; attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to learn are key. Remuneration will depend on experience.

The Role:

This dual role involves managing reception and administration, as well as assisting with technician duties such as ECGs, Holter monitors, BP monitoring, sleep studies, and lung function tests. Full training will be provided.

  • Work primarily at Mooroolbark, with rostered shifts at other regional sites to cover leave or busy periods.
  • 76-hour fortnight, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm.
  • Greet patients, manage appointments, billing, and payments, and ensure excellent patient experience.
  • Handle calls, bookings, documentation, and all clinic administration tasks.
  • Perform medical tests including ECGs, Holter monitors, sleep studies, and lung function tests.
  • Assist cardiologists with stress echocardiography preparations occasionally.
  • Maintain office and medical supplies and equipment.
  • Download and program monitors as needed.
Requirements:
  • Full working rights and Australian permanent residency essential.
  • Experience in medical reception or technician roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of medical software (HealthTrack preferred), a valid driver's license, and a vehicle.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a professional, friendly attitude.
  • High work ethic, self-motivated, proactive.
  • Working with Children and Police Check certificates required prior to employment.
