Family Doctor is seeking a full-time and a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our team at our clinic in Sunshine Coast, QLD.

About the role:

We are looking for team-oriented individuals who value high-quality patient care. This role involves providing front-line services, guiding patients through administrative and financial processes related to their treatment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Providing high-quality reception and secretarial services to patients, doctors, and staff
- Greeting patients and visitors in person and on the phone
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Performing general office and administrative duties
- Opening and closing the clinic as required

About you:

- Strong communication and IT skills
- Previous medical receptionist experience (advantageous)
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Experience with Best Practice software (advantageous)
- Critical attention to detail
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Opportunity for career development

- Desire to increase knowledge of medical terminology and services
