As part of our continued commitment to excellence, we are seeking dynamic and organized individual to join us in the role of Medical Receptionist.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle high-pressure situations with poise.
  • Proficiency in office software and systems.
  • Proficiency in typing, speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work with a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively within a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task in busy periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanour.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of medical staff's time.
  • Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide information to patients with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Verify patient information and health card details accurately.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records.
  • Liaise with patients and their families in a compassionate manner.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and other office duties.
  • Open and close practice (beginning and end of day procedures).
  • Keep up to date with changes as directed from management.

The successful applicant will be required to:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,100.00 – $66,000.00 per year
