About the Role

The Patient Services Clerk Team Leader will provide leadership, management, and clerical support to the Cancer Centre Patient Services clerical team. They will lead by example to ensure patient-centered customer service and administrative support are delivered at the highest standards reflecting the values of the health service.

Classification: HS3 - HS25 ($74,448.40 - $82,305.60 per annum)

Duties

• Lead the clerical team in delivering high-quality clerical and administrative duties for clinics and the chemotherapy day unit.
• Ensure the team provides excellent customer service and maintains professional standards.
• Support and lead the team through change management to promote continuous quality improvement.
• Review clinic models and implement efficiency improvements.
• Monitor and review clinic performance.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Experience in Cancer Services clinics.
• Previous experience with MBS billing.
• Proficient with Patient Administration Systems.
• Proficient with Mosaiq Cancer Care Management System.
• Ability to lead a team effectively.

About Department

The Cancer Centre at St. Vincent's Hospital provides outpatient services for cancer patients, including the Chemotherapy Day Unit and clinics for Medical Oncology, Clinical Haematology, Psychosocial, and Palliative Care.
