Day Infusion Services Clerk

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clerk to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient bookings and ensure compliance with established protocols
  • Conduct pre-admissions and health fund eligibility checks
  • Prepare and distribute necessary paperwork and education packs
  • Liaise with pharmacy for chemotherapy drug verification and coordination of tests and scans for patients
  • Process admissions and discharges efficiently
  • Support the nursing and medical team with reception and general administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare administration
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a patient-focused approach
  • High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Proficiency in relevant software systems, such as MOSAIQ and IBA
  • Commitment to infection control and patient safety protocols
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
