Retail Execution Manager

To drive in-store excellence and execution across Artisan Fine Foods' premium deli and fresh food portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring every retailer sees, touches, and believes in the value of a "mind-blowing deli and fresh food" experience—executed with precision, consistency, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Execution & Compliance

Execute merchandising plans, planograms, and seasonal resets across Independent Supermarkets.

Ensure compliance of product displays, shelf stock levels, rotation, and in-store promotional execution.

Implement clearance PLUs, SOPs, waste reduction strategies, and seasonal merchandising kits.

Collaborate with the Sales Team and suppliers to roll out strategic initiatives (e.g. new product launches, tastings, seasonal programs).

Provide visual merchandising feedback and insight to both Artisan and supplier partners.

Store Engagement

Build trusted relationships with store owners, deli managers, and team leads.

Troubleshoot in-store issues (e.g. ticketing errors, poor facing) and escalate where needed.

Data & Reporting

Submit weekly field reports including before/after photos, compliance scores, and insights from the ground.

Use data to identify underperforming stores and recommend interventions.

Executional Projects

Assist with new store onboarding, demo events, and retailer-specific activations.

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in FMCG merchandising, field marketing, or retail execution

Understanding of independent supermarket operations—especially deli and fresh food departments.

Strong visual merchandising skills with a keen eye for detail

Must be mobile—role involves regular store visits across the state

Previous work within the retail fresh food space (Deli, IGA, Metcash, Café)

Deli, cheese, charcuterie, or fresh food merchandising background.

Can spot a ticketing error from 10 metres out.
