Our client is a well-established leader in the design, fabrication and installation of high-quality conveyor and automated packaging solutions for the Australian and New Zealand food, pharma, chemical and paper industries. The business is growing rapidly and this key Melbourne-based position is now available.

Your new role will see you lead our client's business development activities in Victoria, Tasmania, South and Western Australia. Backed by an experienced team of professional design and project engineers, you will develop close relationships with existing and prospective customers to provide quality solutions to their materials handling and packaging challenges.

Our client is broadening their product range, and are thus delivering an ever expanding scope of solutions. If you are adaptable, have a learning mindset and experience with introducing new products to market this is almost certainly the role for you.

You are energetic and likely qualified in a technical discipline with well-developed commercial nous. You are able to point to a history of successful solution selling of complex custom-engineered products. Your communication skills are excellent both on the factory floor and in the board room – you can often see opportunities before your customers do.
