Job Description Drive business development by identifying and pursuing energy storage opportunities across C&I sectors.
Lead strategic client engagements, from technical discovery through to solution development and proposal delivery.
Perform detailed site and energy usage evaluations, working closely with engineering teams to develop fit-for-purpose storage solutions that meet both technical and commercial objectives.
Support complex sales cycles including pricing strategies, contract terms, risk analysis and tender submissions.
Develop and nurture trusted relationships with clients, partners and industry stakeholders to drive long-term business growth and collaboration.
Keep up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends and energy policies to guide strategic planning and enhance product positioning.
The Successful Applicant A Successful Sales Engineer Should Have Degree in Electrical Engineering (Renewable Energy, Power Systems or a related field) or equivalent experience.2-5 years' experience in sales, business development or technical sales roles within the energy storage or renewables sector.
Solid understanding of battery energy storage systems, grid connection processes and power conversion technologies.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a range of stakeholders and aligning solutions with commercial outcomes.
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proactive and highly organised, with the capability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-moving industry.
