DRA Operations are currently seeking experienced CHPP Operator Maintainers - Electrical to join our core team on site in Central Queensland. These positions will be offered on Full Time or Casual contracts and will involve a 7 / 7 roster or Shift Relief, with flights from Cairns, Townsville or Rockhampton provided and camp accommodation whilst on site. While Rockhampton and Townsville are our primary FIFO hubs, we encourage applicants from all regional Queensland communities to apply.

As part of our core team, you will find that no two days are the same on site with DRA. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Operate and monitor preparation plant to optimize production and quality as directed by the CHPP Production Supervisor.
2. Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within the CHPP.
3. Operate stockpile dozers to manage the product coal stockpile, reclaim operations, and train loading.
4. Perform train loading operations in line with train schedules and blend parameters.
5. Perform first response breakdown maintenance tasks as required.
6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions for optimizing plant operations and electrical systems.
7. Housekeeping and general maintenance of all areas of the CHPP, Train Loadout, and Yard.

Our ideal candidate is a positive and safety-conscious team player with a strong work ethic who possesses the following:

• Relevant Trade Certificate - Electrical - Essential
• Previous experience within the CHPP environment
• Stockpile Dozer Experience – highly regarded
• Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain
• Current Standard 11 or willingness to obtain
• Valid Australian Drivers License
• Valid Right to Work in Australia
• SARC Cert (Safety Access Rail Corridor) - Highly regarded
• Demonstrated safety focus with the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a dynamic team
