About the Position

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about horticulture and has a keen eye for detail to join our team as a Gardening Team Member. As part of our crew, you will have the opportunity to work outdoors in a variety of settings, maintaining and enhancing green spaces across various contracts.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working collaboratively with a team. You will be responsible for operating various mowing equipment safely and efficiently, as well as maintaining and performing regular inspections on equipment.

  • Operate a range of gardening equipment including push and ride-on mowers, brush cutters, hedgers, secateurs, weed control machinery, and spraying equipment.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Complete service requests as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in gardening using a range of equipment.
  • A valid manual driver's license.
  • A white card.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team or independently.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • The willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
