The program

Red Cross Transport service is more than just a commuter service - it is also an opportunity for genuine social connection

Designed for older Australians and people experiencing transport disadvantage, this door-to-door service helps clients attend non-urgent medical appointments, social outings (like coffee with friends or community events), or essential errands such as grocery shopping. Clients are welcome to bring a carer or registered friend along for the ride. By combining reliable logistics with a friendly chat, this service supports physical, social, and emotional well-being and helps people remain independent in their own homes whilst still being connected to the community.
