Located on Queen Street Mall, five-star Hyatt Regency Brisbane is a premium retreat in the heart of Brisbane's Central Business District and premium shopping mall. The hotel features 292 well-appointed guestrooms with modern décor, two food and beverage experiences; Lennons Restaurant and Bar and Hibiscus Room, along with 100sqm of flexible meeting space at Executive Studios on lobby level and newly designed event venue within Hibiscus Room is an impressive 300sqm of unique space with natural light from the break out terrace. Other facilities include 24-hour fitness center and the iconic outdoor 20-metre infinity pool ideal for unwinding after a day's work, shopping or exploring Brisbane.

About the Role

We are looking for a team member to work across our all day dining venue, Lennons Restaurant and Bar as well as our Poolside Terrace Restaurant, Hibiscus Room.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for assisting to bring to life Lennons Restaurant and Bar and Hibiscus Room whilst ensuringmaximum guests' satisfaction and adhering to Hyatt International standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Hands on kitchen role
  • Preparation and cooking of menu items within a busy environment
  • Work across all culinary sections including LENNONS outlet and Hibiscus Room
  • Maintain a hygienic and clean work environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Flexibility around working across all shifts including nights, weekends & public holidays
  • Exceptional communication and organisation skills
