OverviewJoin a privately owned WA-based civil construction company as a Senior HR Advisor, supporting a large and diverse blue-collar workforce across multiple divisions. Reporting to the Group HR Manager and based at head office, you'll play a key role in delivering high-level HR advice and driving organisational change across the business. This role offers scope for leadership, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real impact during a time of significant transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on HR policy, employment law, and award interpretation
- Lead and support major change management initiatives
- Conduct workplace investigations and recommend outcomes
- Support and coach leaders on performance management and improvement plans
- Guide and mentor junior HR team members
- Manage confidential and sensitive employee matters with professionalism
- Occasional travel to regional sites
- HR Diploma or Degree (essential)
- Proven experience supporting a large blue-collar workforce
- Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and modern awards
- Confident in handling IR/ER issues and workplace investigations
- Proficient with HRIS platforms (Employment Hero highly regarded)
- Ability to work independently with high levels of integrity and discretion
- Valid WA driver's licence and unrestricted Australian working rights
- Be a key player in an organisation undergoing exciting growth and change
