About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Same Day Fleet Allocator to join our Banksmeadow depot for an immediate start in our operational call centre. This PM shift role (2pm–10pm) involves coordinating fleet resources to ensure all Same Day pick-ups and deliveries are completed safely, on time, and efficiently. A strong focus on service excellence is essential, along with building positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support exceptional customer experiences and business growth.

What You'll Do
  • Manage all transport allocation and costs in line with operational requirements, maintaining a high level of productivity in all operations areas.
  • Frequent the Same Day area in our Banksmeadow depot to sight freight and work with our Same Day Co‑Ordinator(s) and Same Day drivers to achieve the best possible outcomes in regard to meeting tight service deadlines.
  • Enhance the customer experience by ensuring calls, enquiries and emails are actioned and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Track resources; communicate with drivers, customers and suppliers; and prioritise tasks.
  • Assist with the identification, investigation and remedying of operational and service issues specific to the Same Day service offering.
  • Use tools, resources, applications and systems to ensure all necessary information is captured and shared as required.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned and required.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience in fleet allocation.
  • Excellent knowledge of metropolitan Sydney.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Experience in fast-paced operations.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S Legislative and Regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, Safety at Work, Fatigue Management, Mass Management Load Restraint and Chain of Responsibility.
