Role Purpose

The Product Data Specialist works within the Product & Delivery Team at Z Software to ensure the accurate, timely, and secure processing and delivery of data used in our software products by customers. The role manages recurring data workflows, resolves data quality issues, and maintains reliable operational processes that uphold quality, consistency, and compliance. Partnering closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, the specialist delivers monthly data updates to agreed deadlines and standards, supports industry change implementation, and sustains confidence in our product data.

Location: Flexible working arrangements are available from our office in Surry Hills, NSW 2010 The location offers paid parking, is close to public transport, and is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and cafes.

About You

• Industry knowledge – Knowledge of and/or experience of the Australian pharmacy sector.
• Data expertise – Strong understanding of product data, attributes, schemas, and validation methods.
• Tool proficiency – High proficiency with Excel and working knowledge of SQL for queries and checks.
• Communication skills – Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Documentation rigour – Ability to update and create documentation to support, release notes, and data dictionaries with accuracy.
• Problem solving – Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving data issues.
• Time management – Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage recurring release commitments.
• Collaboration – Confident engagement with internal teams, suppliers, and governing bodies.
• Continuous improvement – Curiosity to refine processes and champion automation opportunities.
