The Department
The SBS Media Operations team sits within the Media Sales function at SBS. This team includes the Television and Digital operations teams and is responsible for all campaign delivery, ad tech strategy and management leading to a seamless user ad experience. This role will work directly within the digital operations function with leading data technology and ad platforms, driving revenue growth initiatives, and delivering commercial audience/data executions.
The Role
This role is classified as Level 4 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement (with a base salary range of ($96,483 - $100,000). The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.
The purpose of this role is to deliver the data and commercial product strategy for SBS and contribute to the future direction. This will require you to work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver on operational activities and strategic plans.
Reporting into the Senior Data and Commercial Product Manager, and working alongside another specialist, this role will see you develop commercial strategies, digital expertise, and multi-disciplinary stakeholder management, whilst being responsible for:
- Ensuring SBS is leading the market when it comes to digital commercial product and audience offering.
- Delivering and go-to market on new commercial products and audience initiatives that drive commercial outcomes.
- Mastering the technology platforms that manage data, including the Adobe customer data platform (CDP).
- Building strong relationships across the Media Sales org and other business units to ensure delivery of commercial initiatives.
- Evaluating and partnering with ad vendors to ensure SBS is providing best-in-class commercial solutions to the market.
About you
Ideally, you will bring:
- Solid and demonstrable experience at a specialist level, or stepping up to specialist level, and can showcase your skillset in Digital media and how that would translate into your role here.
- Natural curiosity, with a keen interest in tackling new challenges and an ability for creative problem solving.
- An audience/data background with a commercial product lens.
- Experience with the Adobe product portfolio as well as Google.
- A passion for SBS and its wide reach and unique audience.
- A drive for commercially driven outcomes.
- Experience presenting, and can communicate and tailor complex ideas in a meaningful and beneficial way to a range of stakeholders.
