About the role

This full-time Deli Manager role at Foodworks' in Worrigee NSW 2540 offers an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a thriving deli team. As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the deli operation, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

What you'll be doing

Manage and motivate a team of deli assistants, providing coaching and training to develop their skills

Oversee deli operations, including inventory management, product ordering, and food preparation

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

Develop and implement strategies to increase deli sales and customer satisfaction

Liaise with the store management team to provide feedback and recommendations for improving deli performance

Foster a positive work environment and promote a customer-centric culture within the deli team

What we're looking for

Significant experience in a deli or food service management role, ideally within the retail industry

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices

Hands-on experience in inventory management and product ordering

Highly organised with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
