Your role

As an Oracle Tuxedo Consultant within our Oracle team, you'll work alongside a team of like-minded individuals within the Oracle community and partner closely with our clients on a wide variety of collaborative and innovative engagements.

• Provide end-to-end support for Oracle Tuxedo platform environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Manage and maintain the underlying IBM AIX infrastructure supporting Tuxedo services.
• Monitor and optimize Tuxedo domains, application servers, and service handlers for performance, availability, and capacity.
• Work closely with DBA teams to ensure seamless integration with Oracle Database 19c.
• Perform log analysis, root cause analysis, and resolution of incidents and performance issues related to the Tuxedo stack.
• Participate in deployment and release activities ensuring change management compliance.
• Maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with application support, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure platform resilience and compliance.
• Support on-call operations as part of a 24x7 support rotation.
  
  

Your profile

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in middleware platform support with a strong focus on Oracle Tuxedo.
• Proven experience managing Oracle Tuxedo on IBM AIX, including performance tuning and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience working with Oracle Database 19c from an application platform perspective.
• Strong understanding of high availability, load balancing, and failover mechanisms in Tuxedo environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments under tight SLAs.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
