Responsibilities
  • Prepare, negotiate, review, and manage various types of contracts, including head contracts, subcontracts, supply and purchasing contracts, and other contractual agreements.
  • Monitor contract compliance to ensure all parties meet their contractual obligations.
  • Identify and analyse potential risks in contracts, providing recommendations to mitigate issues.
  • Liaise and coordinate with managers, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding contractual matters.
  • Administer variations, claims, and dispute resolutions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, including payment schedules, progress claims, correspondence, and records.
  • Support project teams to ensure contracts align with project timelines, budgets, and legal requirements.
  • Continuously improve contract management processes, ensuring efficiency, risk mitigation, and adherence to company and legal standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management to support decision-making related to contracts.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator.
  • Experience in the construction industry is required.
  • Australian work experience as a Contract Administrator, with familiarity of contract management processes and relevant regulations in the Australian construction industry.
  • Strong experience in managing head contracts, subcontractor agreements, procurement contracts, and other types of contracts.
  • Ability to analyse contract risks and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various project stakeholders.
  • Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and project tasks simultaneously.
