Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Department and fellow Consultants to meet national, state, and SMHS performance standards and targets.
• Patient Safety & Quality Care: Champion patient safety and ensure the highest quality of care.
• Education & Training: Provide orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training, health service medical practitioners, and other health workers.
• Clinical Practice: Operate within the scope of clinical practice as defined by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.

This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Part Time, Sessional and Casual appointments with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

Please note: Sessional (4 hrs = a session) contract only & will not be part time to allow for visa sponsorship

We currently have 0.3 FTE available with potential for additional hours / sessions in the future.
