Customer Team Member Nights (18+) SPAR Brumby Corner

16 hours per week

22:30pm-6:30am

We have an exciting opportunity for a SPAR Customer Team Member. As a Customer Team Member at SPAR Brumby Corner, you will support our store management and create a positive customer experience. You will help maximize sales and profit by completing assigned tasks, contributing to store improvement, and ensuring excellent customer service through initiatives like 'Brilliant Basics, Moments of Wow, Food for Later, and Food for Now.'

Key Tasks/Responsibilities
Customer Service:
  • Greeting customers warmly.
  • Answering inquiries and helping customers find products.
  • Processing purchases efficiently and accurately at the tills.
  • Upselling and highlighting offers to maximize sales.
Store Operations:
  • Stock management: checking deliveries, stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, rotating stock.
  • Completing tasks like date checking, stock and gap checks, price changes, promotional displays.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Skills/Knowledge
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Understanding of retail legislative responsibilities.
  • Ability to contribute ideas for customer service and business growth.
  • Experience with 'Challenge 25' policy desirable.
  • Enthusiastic team player with independent working skills.
  • Cash handling experience preferred but not essential.

Additional Information

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 16 hours per week

Salary: Up to £12.25/hr (depending on age) plus night allowance
