We're partnering with one of Australia's most respected insight & strategy consultancies to recruit a Qualitative Senior Account Director. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role where you'll influence decision-making at the highest level and help shape the future of some of Australia's most recognisable brands.

As a Senior Account Director, you'll take the lead on major client relationships, guiding projects from initial brief through to strategic delivery. Your role goes far beyond running focus groups. You'll uncover the cultural and behavioural drivers that sit behind consumer choices and translate them into sharp, actionable recommendations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading high-profile qualitative projects end-to-end, from proposal to debrief.
  • Running senior-level client engagements and presenting strategic recommendations with impact.
  • Applying advanced qualitative approaches. Everything from ethnography to co-creation, while integrating innovative tools, including AI-enabled analysis.
  • Shaping brand and marketing strategy, partnering with creative agencies to evaluate and evolve positioning, comms and CVPs.
  • Mentoring and inspiring a talented team of up-and-coming researchers.
  • Collaborating across quant, strategy, and innovation specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
What we're looking for:
  • Substantial experience in qualitative research, ideally within top-tier research or brand consultancies.
  • A proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence brand and marketing strategy.
  • Expertise across a breadth of methodologies. From in-depth interviews and ethnography to innovation workshops.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a consultative mindset. You are able to cut through complexity and make clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Genuine passion for people, culture, and brands, with curiosity to explore new ways of thinking.
