About the opportunity

Mercy Hospital for Women is seeking a motivated and experienced midwifery educator to join our team. The Learning Team is committed to providing quality education by promoting excellence in professional practice through empowering Nurses and Midwives in the public health sector. The Clinical Midwifery Educator will work collaboratively with the Director and Assistant Directors of Nursing and Midwifery Education and clinical support, to support clinical education and training programs.

• Registered Midwife or Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA
• Relevant post registration qualifications and experience
• Knowledge of contemporary midwifery issues
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• You demonstrate innovative approaches to problem solving
• Recent clinical experience across the peri partum period

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
