Job title: Senior Process Intelligence Engineer (2-year fixed term) – Port Kembla
Overview
Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a Senior Process Intelligence Engineer in the Digital Transformation team. You will lead the adoption of our Process Intelligence toolkit across ASP Manufacturing, scaling proven solutions from single sites into business-wide impact. You will help shape predictive analytics, advanced monitoring, and data-driven decision-making to improve safety, quality, yield and efficiency across the network.
What you will do
- Build standardised frameworks, replicate proven solutions across sites, and ensure predictive analytics and advanced monitoring deliver transformational uplift
- Lead multi-site process intelligence roadmaps and ensure solutions are replicated quickly and effectively
- Partner with operations and functional teams to set the strategic direction for data governance and data definitions
- Establish interoperability across tools, datasets and departments to reduce duplication and break down silos
- Mentor analysts, champions and leaders to build local ownership of tools and insights
- Deliver measurable improvements in yield, quality, safety and efficiency through actionable insights
What we're looking for
- Teritary qualifications in engineering, science, information technology or related field
- Strong technical and analytical skills, ideally within manufacturing, process engineering, or data analytics
- Curiosity to explore the "why" and "what's next" in complex systems
- Restorative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to translate strategy into practical, adoptable solutions
- Experience mentoring others and building capability that outlives direct involvement
