As an ANZ Business Development Manager at Janison, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by acquiring new customers and building high-value client relations across Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific region. Your focus will be on identifying opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and winning transformative deals that bring Janison's world-class assessment platform to new organisations.

You'll thrive on creating momentum—turning conversations into opportunities, opportunities into deals, and deals into long-term partnerships. Working closely with product, marketing, and solutions experts, you'll help shape strategies that position Janison as the go-to partner for digital transformation in education and professional credentialing. This role is perfect for someone who is motivated by growth targets, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to make a tangible impact on the future of education through technology.

We are prioritising candidates based in Melbourne; however, New Zealand based applicants will also be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Generate new business acquisition across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific by identifying, prospecting and converting new opportunities
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial outreach and qualification through to pitching, negotiation and contract closure
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations that showcase the value of Janison's technology
  • Leverage regional partners to align resources and strategies on joint opportunities
  • Collaborate cross functionally with marketing, product and customer success teams to creating winning proposals and ensure seamless post sale handover
  • Create and grow networks via both online and face to face modes to build proactive relationships with key stakeholders across targeted segments
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in education software sales at an enterprise level
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the B2B software sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of digital assessment technologies and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to generate new business and work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation
  • Background in software and service delivery; experience in the education sector is beneficial but not required
