We're looking for a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Hose Technician or experienced mechanic to join our client's team and deliver high-quality service to their clients across Launceston and surrounding areas.

As a Hydraulic Hose Technician, you'll be responsible for the assembly, installation, and repair of hydraulic hose systems both in the workshop/warehouse and on-site. This is a dynamic role that combines technical expertise with customer service, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install hydraulic hoses and fittings to specification
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic hose failures on-site
  • Operate hose crimping and pressure testing equipment
  • Interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
  • Provide responsive mobile breakdown service to clients
  • Maintain accurate service records and adhere to safety protocols
What You'll Bring:
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with hydraulic systems
  • Knowledge of hose types, fittings, and compatibility standards desirable
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A current driver's license (essential)
  • Relevant trade qualifications or experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • White and Hi-risk cards
  • Computer basic knowledge
