Personal Assistant to Unit Manager - Governance, Risk and Legal at Central Coast Council. This is a temporary full-time position until December 2026, with a 9-day fortnight, flexible/hybrid working arrangements, and a salary up to $76k plus progression to $89k with 12% superannuation. Location: Wyong Administration Building.
Role summary: The Personal Assistant to the Unit Manager ensures the Unit Manager has all relevant information and documentation to support well-prepared decisions. Reporting directly to the Unit Manager, Governance, Risk and Legal, you will coordinate a high volume of tasks, correspondence, reports, presentation materials, financial information and other actions across the Unit. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of tasks and provide quality customer service to create value for the community.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily activities for the Governance, Risk and Legal unit, ensuring information is prepared for decision-making.
- Manage a high volume of tasks, correspondence, reports, presentation materials and financial information.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure tasks are delivered on time.
- Provide quality customer service and contribute to community value.
- A certificate III in Business Administration or related field, or demonstrated solid experience in a similar role with ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior manager support role in a large organisation.
- Experience with electronic records management systems, budget software, and other computer-based systems.
- Working knowledge of budgets.
- Ability to undertake complex and sensitive projects on behalf of the Unit Manager.
- Experience in consultation, negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Temporary full-time role with 9-day fortnight and hybrid/flexible working conditions.
- Salary up to $76k with progression to $89k on assessment of skills and performance, plus 12% superannuation.
