We're on the hunt for a passionate Apprentice Chef to join the talented team at Bateau Bay Hotel and learn the tricks of the trade from some of the best in the business.

The Bateau Bay Hotel's restaurant offers a diverse menu crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients to tantalise your taste buds. From hearty burgers and succulent steaks to delicious seafood and vegetarian options, there's something to satisfy every palate.

Here's a taste of what we bring to the table:

  • Get paid as you gain hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen
  • All the tools and uniforms provided - just bring your appetite

  • Ongoing support with regular check-ins from a dedicated Apprentice and Employment Consultant
  • Gain a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery - Become a qualified chef

Wages: Award Wages (Registered Clubs Award)

Eligibility: Applicants must be eligible to complete an Apprenticeship Australian/NZ Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents
