The Chef is responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking food to the highest standards in accordance with restaurant menus. They are expected to supervise kitchen operations, manage junior staff, ensure hygiene and food safety compliance, and contribute to menu development and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook high-quality meals as per menu specifications

- Monitor food preparation methods and portion sizes

- Maintain hygiene standards and comply with food safety regulations

- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff

- Order food supplies and manage stock control

- Collaborate with management on menu planning and food presentation

- Ensure equipment is maintained and cleaned regularly

Skills and Experience Required:

- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification

- At least 3 years' full-time experience as a Chef

- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards

- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Salary & Conditions:

Hours: 38 hours per week (Full-Time)
