About the role

Are you a master organiser, a natural problem-solver, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment?

QIC is seeking a National Operations Coordinator to join our Real Estate team for a 12-month maternity leave contract based in Sydney.

This is your chance to be at the centre of a high-performing national portfolio, working alongside QIC's Property team to deliver strategic operations across shopping centre assets. You'll gain exposure to national programs, collaborate with industry leaders, and grow your career within one of Australia's leading investment organisations.

All work is focused on delivering a smooth operational program across the portfolio and supporting national initiatives.

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage invoices, contracts, reports, and presentations.
  • Own and assist the coordination of national programs.
  • Keep stakeholders informed and organised—diary management, inbox triage, meeting coordination, expense management and minutes.
  • Liaise with external partners and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive process improvements and support audits, procurement, and project pipelines.
  • Be the go-to person for data, systems, and reporting—Power BI, contract matrix, certifications, and more.
About you
  • Natural multitasker who can juggle calendars, contracts, and coordination with ease.
  • Clear and confident communicator—writing reports and coordinating meetings.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and reporting tools like Power BI.
  • Implements initiative and proactively helps with what else is needed.
  • Calm under pressure and adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently.
