Overview

Assetlink is hiring for the role of Guest Service Team Member at Assetlink. This position is based at QIC Canberra Centre in the Australian Capital Territory and is on a casual basis.

The Role

The Customer Service Team Member plays an integral role in the guest experience as the first point of contact for our clients' customers. The Concierge greets visitors at the customer service desk with a helpful and welcoming attitude and assists guests with queries and special requests, creating a positive first impression. The role provides accurate information and directions, anticipates customer needs, and resolves complaints to delight the customer by going above and beyond. We are looking for an energetic people person who enjoys interacting with customers and delivering a level of service that consistently meets or exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet visitors at the customer service desk with a welcoming attitude; provide information, directions, and assistance as needed
  • Assist guests with queries and special requests, ensuring a positive guest experience
  • Provide accurate information and directions; anticipate customer needs and act to resolve issues promptly
  • Delight customers by delivering service that consistently meets or exceeds client expectations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create lasting impressions and meaningful relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day week, including public holidays
  • Full VIC/SA/WA/NSW/ACT Driver's Licence (Valet parking is part of the role)
  • Prior customer-facing or hospitality/retail/hotel concierge experience preferred
  • Knowledge of safe working practices
  • Physical fitness to carry out duties and stand for long periods
  • Must have valid work rights in Australia
