What you will be doing

A variety of works which can include road patching, to assisting with services repairs, all excavation work, grading and compacting and general earth moving PLUS:

  • Operation of plant and machinery as required for Services, ensuring timely completion and a high standard of product quality and safety at all times
  • Emergency work at any time of the day or night as required e.g. in the case of heavy rains or cyclone
  • Ensure all labour hours, machine hours, materials and information required for work dockets are recorded accurately and on a timely basis
  • Responsible for the security and basic daily servicing of allocated vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are maintained in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition at all times
  • Road patching, traffic control and general laboring

About You

  • Minimum 2 years work experience in the operation of earthmoving equipment and plant equipment
  • HR Truck License (Essential)
  • Construction White Card (Essential)
  • Ability to be approved for and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (Essential)
  • Non-slewing Crane Licence (Desirable)
  • Mobile Crane, Grader, Forklift and Plant Batching licenses (Desirable)
  • Front End Loader, Skid Steer, Backhoe (Desirable)
