Plant Site Supervisor

Responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant (Major Hazard Facility) and its associated equipment.

What you will enjoy doing

• You will be accountable for site compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
• Oversee all work on the site, including coordination of contractors, to achieve KPIs and site objectives.
• Control site costs, planning, and supervision of site maintenance activities.
• Report on site compliance and production data.
• You shall support all activities required to ensure the reliability and improvement of the plants.
• Furthermore, you will monitor, alert, and assist the Remote Operations Centre (ROC) in plant operations, including plant shutdown and restart.
• This role requires some after-hours on-call duties (availability after hours in the event of plant operational issues or emergency response scenarios).

What makes you great

• You hold a Trade or Degree Qualification in a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Instrumentation).
• Prior experience in continuous process plant operations.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
• Your previous knowledge of process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems will be highly regarded.
• You have a natural ability to identify and implement continuous improvement projects by executing time management and project management skills whilst actively troubleshooting plant processes.
• Furthermore, your excellence in verbal and written communication aids you in leading the implementation of safety and operational initiatives effectively.
• Capable of utilizing company business and safety systems.
• Preferably based in Condamine, Miles, or Chinchilla, or willing to relocate.
