Overview

Project Manager role at Global Payments Inc. | Salary range: $120,000 to 130,000 plus superannuation. This is a fixed-term (6 months) contract.

Summary of this role: Manages all aspects of large-scale and complex projects or initiatives from initiation to delivery, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and budget adherence. Designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan, monitors progress, identifies and resolves issues to minimize delays, and ensures project goals are met within time, cost, and quality parameters. Acts as a liaison to secure specialized resources and contributions, conducts project meetings, and prepares regular status reports. Collaborates with stakeholders to establish priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet milestones and client satisfaction.

What Part Will You Play?
  • Manages projects that may span a single or a few business segments, collaborating with internal functions and/or external stakeholders.
  • Creates and manages project plans, including simple to moderately complex customizations to standard processes.
  • Manages time, scope, and cost based on requirements; raises issues for escalation as needed.
  • Collaborates with internal areas and external partners to resolve issues and changes in requirements.
  • Gathers sizing information, ensures accurate estimation, and timely billing for projects.
  • Monitors budget and seeks opportunities to add value or reduce delivery costs to optimize productivity.
  • Participates in governance and governance-related decisions within approved processes and methodologies.
  • Works with Legal, Procurement, and Finance as needed to manage budgeting and contractual considerations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant experience or degree; no designated field required; equivalent training and/or work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Typically minimum 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
