The Chef de Partie is responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen hygiene, and teamwork. The Chef de Partie works closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure consistent high-quality food production and presentation.

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standard
  • Oversee the preparation and service of food in your section
  • Ensure that food is prepared consistently in line with recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen at all times
  • Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
  • Collaborate with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
  • Assist in the development of new menu items and specials
  • Maintain stock control and assist with ordering and inventory as needed
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-quality kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
