The Stores Inventory Control is responsible for providing general warehouse and logistics services in line with Supply Chain Process, and is accountable for delivering their work on time, in full and to standard The Stores Inventory Control is a general labour position with a high level of physical movement and manual handling of tools, materials and equipment (goods).

What's involved

  • Monitor and optimise inventory through stock level analysis, periodic reviews, cyclic stocktakes, and support for supply chain reporting activities.
  • Ensure a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible warehouse operation with accurate inventory control and continuous improvement through incident reporting and corrective actions.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts and equipment to safely move materials on-site, ensuring all tasks comply with manual handling and safety procedures.
  • Manage stock-related processes including maintenance and calibration schedules, providing fortnightly stock place reports to the Logistics Manager.

You'll need

  • 2+ years relevant Warehousing and Logistics experience, ideally within a Marine Support, Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence industry
  • Working experience in a computerised ERP environment
  • Certificate III in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Pronto or IFS experience
  • Basic Microsoft Excellent and Microsoft Word skills
