We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Community Development Officer to join our PCYC Inala Youth Club. This casual role offers approximately 15 hours per week, generally across Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons, with finish times around 7pm. It is suitable for applicants available during these times to support the delivery of Drop In, After Dark, and Team Up programs.

Your Role
Reporting to the Youth Club Manager, your role as a Community Development Officer is to develop, promote, implement, and evaluate community programs to engage local participants. You will foster positive outcomes and opportunities both personally and as a community. We are committed to creating a supportive, respectful, and positive environment where everyone feels welcome. About You
- Minimum Certificate III in youth work, community development/welfare, human services, or related discipline, or equivalent experience in the social and community sector
- Experience in youth-related activities
- Preferably, at least 3 years' experience in youth-related activities
- Hold a light rigid driver's license and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain)
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or ability to obtain)
Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) is mandatory. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
