General Manager of Cruise

Are you a strategic and commercially driven leader ready to shape the future of cruise travel? This is a standout opportunity to take full ownership of a fast-growing cruise product division, leading commercial strategy, creating standout deals, and enhancing the customer journey through powerful travel technology.

You'll be responsible for driving revenue, profit, and market growth, while collaborating closely with internal teams, particularly tech, marketing, and product, to deliver a seamless, data-driven customer experience. What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end performance of the Cruise vertical, revenue, margin, growth and customer engagement.
  • Lead strategic product development and go-to-market plans to drive high-performing sales campaigns.
  • Develop exclusive, high-converting deals with cruise partners, leveraging your strong supplier relationships.
  • Use sales data, customer insights and competitive intel to identify trends, gaps and new opportunities.
  • Work side-by-side with tech and product teams to enhance the booking journey and platform functionality.
  • Partner with marketing to develop compelling campaigns and optimise merchandising strategy.
  • Continuously improve operational processes for greater efficiency and better customer outcomes.
  • Present forecasts, performance reporting, and strategic updates to the senior leadership team.

  • Proven commercial leadership in a sales-focused environment, ideally within the cruise or broader travel industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading commercial performance, consistently driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Expert in strategic sales planning, with a strong record of executing impactful campaigns and delivering results through effective day-to-day trading and commercial execution.
  • Deep understanding of the cruise supplier landscape with an ability to secure exclusive offers and joint marketing agreements.
  • Strategic mindset with strong planning, pricing and promotional execution skills.
  • Confident in identifying flash deal opportunities and maximising campaign impact.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborative experience working across marketing, tech, product and operations to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Passion for technology and its role in travel distribution, conversion optimisation, and customer experience.
  • A hands-on, inspiring leadership style with experience building high-performance, commercially aligned teams.
