Reservations Coordinator/Host Job Opportunity

The role of Reservations Coordinator/Host is a part-time/full-time on-site position located in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. The job consists of 20-40 hours per week on a casual basis with fluctuating start and finish times.

This position requires interacting with customers via phone, email, and in person to manage and process reservations, provide excellent customer service, handle sales inquiries, organize staff, order meals with the restaurant, and perform receptionist and host duties.

Key responsibilities include coordinating bookings, confirming details, setting up gondolas, welcoming customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with reservations and sales
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is an advantage
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in hospitality or tourism is beneficial
