About the Role

This is a part-time/full-time on-site position for a Reservations Coordinator/Host located in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast.

The role consists of 20-40 hours per week on a casual basis, with flexible start and finish times.

Evening and weekend work are required, but owners are happy to work around other commitments.

The Reservations Coordinator will be responsible for managing and processing reservations, providing excellent customer service, handling sales inquiries, and ordering meals.

They will also perform receptionist and host duties such as answering phones, preparing food and drinks, greeting & seating customers, getting cruises underway, and setting up for next cruise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interacting with customers via phone, email, and in person
  • Coordinating bookings and confirming details
  • Welcoming customers and ensuring customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Experience with Reservations and Sales preferred
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is a plus
