Base pay range

A$180,000.00/yr - A$240,000.00/yr

Are you an accomplished business development or project professional eager to play a central role in shaping the future of Victoria's infrastructure? We have an exciting opportunity for a Pursuits & Business Development Lead to drive strategic growth and win complex projects within a highly respected, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

Work in Melbourne and join a collaborative civil infrastructure team dedicated to delivering transformative, sustainable solutions for some of the region's most iconic and technically challenging projects.

In this senior position, you will be empowered to steer the entire work-winning process building and managing your pipeline, leading pursuits, developing client-focused bid strategies, and mentoring a passionate team of bid and design professionals. Leveraging strong industry relationships, especially within the government and private contractor sectors you'll shape client engagement, influence project outcomes, and contribute to business-wide strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate brings direct experience delivering civil infrastructure projects (highways, structures, ports, airports, or similar), proven commercial acumen, and a growth mindset. Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end bids, deep knowledge of the local market and a passion for innovative, sustainable solutions are essential.
