About the role;
This role requires a spray painter who is familiar with applying lacquer to Timber and MDF. We are keen to find a dedicated tradesman who takes pride in their work and who is looking to further develope their skills and knowledge. A person who likes working in a family business enviroment and who takes pride in a job well done. This job would be perfect for a tradesman who wants to learn new skills as we are happy to train the right person if required.
Duties and Responsabillities
- Spraying Two pack pigmented undercoats and top coats on Timber and MDF
- Quality control of all your work to meet the standards set by management and customers
- Management of stock levels pertaining to your work area
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of mixing two pack and single pack lacquers.
- Knowledge of spraying two pack and single pack lacquers
- Knowledge of pressure pots, diaphragm pumps, pot guns, compressed air and orbital sanders.
- Ability to spray lacquer to a high standard including minimal orange peel and no runs
- Experience is required in either automotive or cabinetry painting
- We are happy to train you up on the specific skills, as long as you have some experiance
Working along side our team of qualified tradesmen you will be given ample oppurtunity to fine tune some skills if they are new to you but experiance is required in the application of Two pack coatings as a minimum.
