We are seeking a Team Leader / Reception Manager for a busy day surgery. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of receptionists and administration staff, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.

Key responsibilities will include :

  • Managing and mentoring the reception / administration teams
  • Developing and implementing customer service policies and procedures
  • Ensuring medical reports and records are up to date
  • Monitoring patient satisfaction and addressing any concerns or complaints
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Analysing data to identify areas for improvement in the customer service experience
  • Managing the clinic's appointment scheduling system
  • Coordinating maintenance requirements and ordering medical and office supplies
  • Roster Management
  • Risk management and work health and safety compliance

The ideal candidate will have :

  • Qualification in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Quality Accreditation advantageous
  • Staff management experience
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise competing demands
  • Experience using medical software Profile / Fido advantageous
