About The Role

This position plays a key role in providing direct administrative support for the Engineering and Asset Planning Infrastructure section and is responsible for providing technical guidance, supervision and support to the Administration Officers.

The Role Will
  • Provide direct administrative support and advice to the Team Manager on operational, policy and governance issues to ensure the administration function across the section can respond appropriately.
  • Act as a central point of contact for the section and provide a consultative role regarding area of expertise.
  • Contribute to the improvement of systems, processes, policies and procedures, making informed recommendations on change and improvement initiatives.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:
  • Certificate IV in Business or similar competency.
  • Substantial experience in an administration role, supporting a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in an administrative, financial, legal or analytical discipline.
  • Supervisory experience leading an administrative team.
  • Experience developing the skills and knowledge of others within a team environment.
  • Current "C" class driver's licence.
  • Proficiency in council products including but not limited to, ECM/CES/Marvel/Property and Rating (desirable).
  • Must be willing to undertake duties in various council work locations and teams throughout the Infrastructure and Operations Division as required.
