Clifton Hill Clinic is looking for a medical receptionist to join our friendly team on a casual or part-time basis.

We are a general practice medical centre catering to all age groups. Situated in a designed historic federation building, we boast a large reception area bathed in natural light with ultramodern facilities.

The role involves between one to three regular weekday shifts, with some Saturday mornings. No Sunday or public holiday work.

We are close to public transport, have plenty of easy on-street parking, and a great staff room.

We are a warm, relaxed, and welcoming team committed to high-quality medicine and customer service. We strive for a fun work environment where people can be themselves, and there is plenty of laughter in the tea room. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic receptionist to join our team.

To succeed in this role, you will:

  1. Be well presented
  2. Have a warm, welcoming, and friendly nature
  3. Possess excellent verbal, telephone, and computer skills
  4. Be well organized with strong prioritization skills
  5. Demonstrate a strong work ethic
  6. Have previous medical receptionist experience
  7. Have knowledge of Medicare, including rebates and MBS items
  8. Have (or be willing to obtain) a current police check and working with children check
  9. Experience with Best Practice Software is preferred but not essential
