We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to provide high-quality and timely HR support for a large government organisation in the North Coast Region. This role is critical in supporting major projects by ensuring recruitment and workforce management processes are effective, compliant, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, including participating on selection panels for key roles
  • Provide expert advice on HR policies, compliance, and workforce planning
  • Assist with establishment management, remuneration, and conditions
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and systems, including SAP HR, organisational charts, and FTE reporting
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to support strategic HR initiatives and process improvements

About You:

  • Knowledge of highly regulated HR legislation, enterprise agreements, and policies
  • Demonstrated experience managing recruitment and selection processes end-to-end
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Collaborative and solutions-focused approach

Pay & Conditions:

  • Pay rate: $58.02 – $63.69/hr (based on experience)
  • Hours: Up to 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between 7am and 6pm)
  • Temporary position based in the North Coast Region
  • 1-2 Days work from home
